HB98 – Local Government Building Regulation Amendments

It’s finally out, the substitute for HB98 – Local Government Building Regulation Amendments. Here’s the comparison with the original bill. Victoria Ashby at the League has indicated that the changes were in line with what the League was pushing for that they have now changed their position on the bill from oppose to neutral.

And here’s breaking news. SB61 – Outdoor Advertising Amendments, the billboard conversion to digitals bill, just failed on 2nd Reading in the Senate, 12-15-2. But just like with the other billboard bill, that doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily dead.
